Alcohol
It is often difficult to grasp the health risks and benefits of drinking alcohol. This is due to the fact that researches aren't fully aware of the benefits or risks of moderate alcohol consumption among healthy adults. Most studies on lifestyle (e.g. exercise, diet, caffeine and alcohol) relies on the honest information provided by patients over the course of many years. These studies could reveal that there may be an association between two factors but they don't necessarily lead to one another. It may be that adults with good health have more social interactions and enjoy moderate amounts of alcohol, but that the drinking of alcohol is not associated in making them healthier.Any potential benefits of alcohol are relatively small and may not be the case for all people. According to the most recent diet guidelines, no one should be able to drink alcohol, or increase their consumption of alcohol in hopes of gaining health benefits. For many the benefits may not outweigh the risks and avoiding drinking alcohol is the best option.
